Why Halo 3 is a top rated Xbox 360 game

Halo 3 is about humans trying to stop Prophet Truth and the covenant from firing all halo rings from different places. There are p. kinds of species in the covenant: elites, grunts, brutes, hunters, drones, and jackals. The elites used to be the military force of the covenant, but the brutes became the full force and the prophets betrayed their kind, so the elites joined the humans in the UNSC to get revenge on Truth. The grunts are smallest units, but always throw grenades. The brutes are like advanced apes, they are no push-overs, there is standard type, then captain, and the chieftain, the strongest in the pack. Hunters are like worms with arms and legs with armor and a heavy cannon in the right arm. Drones are like giant flies, and they usually use plasma pistols. The jackals are good snipers/sharpshooters, sometimes they use pistols. Its not just about the covenant, there is another species called the flood, parasites that would easily feed on the carcass of a human or covenant species, and that is the reason why Truth wanted to activate all halo rings, to kill the humans and elites so that the flood would die in starvation.

The heroes in the story are Spartan 117/John (player 1), the Arbiter (elite and player 2), Sergeant Major Johnson, Commander Miranda Keyes, Shipmaster (elite), Cortana (program), and Lord Hood, the leader of the UNSC.

The villains are Prophet Truth, Gravemind, leader of the flood, and Oracle, at first ally, but in the end, he became an enemy when he found out that Master Chief (Spartan 117) and the Arbiter are gonna destroy one of the halo rings.

There are so many weapons we could us in the game, some are weak, most are powerfull, those are rocket launchers, sniper rifles, shotguns, and the spartan laser, you can find them around the map.

When you go to a diff. level, you don’t get stronger, you still stay the same, but sometimes earn diff. weapons.

Weapons have diff. strength, pistols are weak, but handy when you ran out of ammo. The human assault rifle is rapid fire, and could take out a grunt in no time. The human battle rifle is useful for long range, and can fire 3 bullets at the same time. The human shotgun is good, cause after a shot and whack, you can kill anything instantly. The rocket launcher can kill like a vehicle with a few passengers, or big groups of enemies. The plasma pistol can lower the shields of a player when fully charged. The plasma rifle can rapid fire and it may need time to recharge after full use. The carbine is like a rapid firing sniper rifle. The brute spiker is dangerous in close range. The brute mauler is a shotgun, but hand-size. The brute shot is a grenade launcher. The fuel rod gun is a rocket for the covenant. The human spartan laser can deliver a one shot one kill. The human sniper rifle is just like the original sniper rifle like now. The beam rifle is a highly advanced sniper rifle for the covenant.

The good things about the game is that you get to kill aliens and play online w/ friends, the campaign is easy for those who are new, they could play on easy or normal difficulty. Then you can experience about being a shooter, and team playing.

The bad things are that you keep on dying in multiplayer or all missions in legendary and all skulls turned on. Sometimes you may forget about what you learned in school.
